In 2006 Sealy US formed the Orthopaedic Advisory Board, to continue to build on Sealy's rich orthopaedic heritage. It focuses on developments and innovations that help contribute to orthopaedic health and provide more restful and recuperative sleep.

Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine at Northwestern University. Founder and Senior Consultant of the Centre for Pain Studies. Charter Member and past President of the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and team physician for Duke University Medical Centre. President of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine and Director of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Former Chairman of Orthopaedics at University of North Carolina.
Head of the Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at Wake Forest University. Directs, supervises and coordinates all science studies performed in the laboratory. Leads the 7 year Physician Orthopaedic Residency Program, as well as the implementation of science research protocols.
Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest University. Member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Author of numerous articles on orthopaedic surgery and arthroscopy, lecturer.
