Remove make-up with your go-to make-up remover followed by a face cleanser. Removing the build-up of dirt and oil encountered during the day ensures your skin can breathe and renew overnight.
After cleansing, use a moisturiser best suited to your skin (normal, dry, oily, combination or sensitive) and gently rub over your face and neck. I use a rich night-time cream to help keep my skin soft, hydrated and prevent lines.
Make sure to apply a good eye cream at the end of your skincare routine. Eye cream is so underrated yet so beneficial with its ability to hydrate and brighten the eye area.
There’s nothing like a warm peppermint tea to keep you hydrated and calm before bed. This helps reduce my stress and feel ready to tuck into bed.
Go to sleep early enough to ensure you’re getting the rest you need. We often forget how important enough sleep is for healthy skin and night time is when our skin repairs from the previous day, allowing us to wake up refreshed.
