In 2015 we were thrilled to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities to supply Sealy Posturepedic beds to support those families in need - we are proud to provide ongoing support for RMHC to ensure families sleep in comfort.

We very much admire the work Ronald McDonald House Charities does in supporting families throughout their child’s medical journey. We want to support those New Zealand families in need and do what we can to help.

Ronald McDonald House Charities CEO Wayne Howett says "our houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child - not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head to rest at night. Thanks to our partnership with Sealy, our families have a safe, healthy and comfortable sleeping environment to recharge and recover, close to their hospitalised child".

Over 3,500 Kiwi families stay at New Zealand’s Ronald McDonald House’s each year and our involvement is designed to ensure these families have a restful night’s sleep, which is so important in the context of supporting their child.

We are also pleased be able to support RMHC by taking time to help out at the House, with activities such as making lunches for the families.  At a recent lunch we prepared, our team served lamb pita pockets, an assortment of salads and chocolate brownies with fruit kebabs to finish …  We look forward to preparing another lunch for the families soon!

Ronald McDonald House Charities New Zealand (RMHC) creates and supports programmes which strengthen Kiwi families throughout their children's medical journeys, ensuring they are better placed to cope and help their children heal. We address the emotional, financial and practical burdens families with hospitalised children can face through the provision of free accommodation and wider support programmes. Ultimately we ensure families can remain together and strong.  Find out more about Ronald McDonald House Charities at
